I have installed this in an old car, no problems whatsoever. The external mike is working great, I had another unit similar to this one, but Jensen brand.... Day and night difference, screen clear and crisp, the phone conversations are clear, no more screaming for me like the Jensen. The parking brake bypass is a must, who is going to be that stupid to watch a movie while you drive?. Enough babysitting for obvious things, is someone is that damn to drive and text or drive and watch a movie should not be driving anyway. Great for the passenger and back seat riders to watch a movie and be quiet!.
